For the duration of the trial, the trial franchisee will have access to the benefits of being part of the Labels for Africa network (as discussed in the attached franchise agreement), and will also be liable for the costs of being part of the Labels for Africa (LFA) network (excluding the annual joining fee of __________ex Vat). At the end of the trial, there will be no obligation from either party to continue the relationship as discussed in this document.
Terms and processes to be followed for duration of trial:
The trial franchisee will utilise the dealer Xeikon calculator in order to purchase digital labels for Spec Systems (business as usual), as well as to quote customers.
- At the beginning of the following month, the trial franchisee will receive two statements:
- Spec system statement for prior months purchases (payable according to normal terms as agreed with Spec Systems)
- LFA management fee statement (for 8% of the value of the prior months Spec purchases, payable on receipt of statement)
- Upon receipt of LFA management fees, Spec will grant a 20% discount on prior month’s purchases via credit note to Franchisee.
- All leads from centralised marketing campaigns conducted by trial franchisor, will be forwarded to trial franchisee.
At the end of the three month trial, the trial franchisee will have the option to:
- Sign up as an official franchisee of Labels for Africa by paying the annual joining fee.
- Choose not to sign up as an official franchisee of Labels for Africa, and revert back to current business standing with Spec Systems.
